If you buy a used kit, jsut be sure to clean the lines all out, clean the nozzle really good, and just rebuild the solenoids right away so you know they are o.k... this can be done yourself, or send them to one of the vendor's on here and they can do it quick/cheap enough.

Obviously look @ the bottle, brackets, lines, make sure they are all in good working order.

As long as they are, you should be good to go.

I bought a used kit this past summer for my truck. I wired everything up and tested the noids without the lines hooked up so i could here all the noids click. I then hooked the lines up and ran it without the lines hooked to the nozzle to purge the lines and system and check for leaks before finalizing. everything has checked out so far and my kits older as I had to get the bottle recertified before summit racing would fill it. How hard is it to rebuild the noids? can I do it myself and whats the parts replaced?

I ran a 12.89 @ 111.

I dont think it was working correctly though because my bottle isnt mounted right because im not getting liquid, I have it sideways in the bottom where the T-Tops go with the outlet pointing down, is that ok? Where do most people and how do they mount there bottle?

I think the bottle is supposed to be around a 15 degree angle? people mount their bottle's all over the place. spare tire well, trunk, trans tunnel, and many other places

I just read up on it a little bit, I have to move the bottle so the outlet is pointing towards the rear of the car so the siphon tube will be oriented right.

Unless someone has taken the siphon tube out this is not correct. Valve always points to the front of the car. Again if someone has move or alerted the siphon tube for there application then you either have to mount it similarly to how they did or you can change the siphon tube back to original orientation.

How is the bottle mounted in the car? Mounting depends on mfg. but most of them are universal. For example with ours if its mounted side to side the outlet will need to be pointed at a slight angle down and to the rear of the vehicle.

Its mounted sideways in the trunk where the t-tops usually go, with the opening valve toward the spare tire.
