Default maf screen & NOS 5177

Is anyone running NOS 5177 with the stock maf screen removed? Since removing the screen gives me 1degree timming and when installing NOS you have to remove the engine tuning. Any information will be great.

With the 5177 it is recommended to remove the screen b/c your spraying before the MAF. I removed mine and have no issues at all. I also have the MAF-T to adjust my a/f.

I removed my stock MAF screen and have had no issues spraying a dry shot. I do have my timing set at 26 degree's using the predator. If your using stock tune you may want to check your A/F on a wide band when you spray the car. autotaping and checking for KR is a good idea also.

I also removed my screen when I installed the NOS 5177 kit. My car ran a bit fat from the factory, and removing that screen helped me a bit without nitrous, and it was perfect with the dry shot.
