Cool, mine has forged pistons and ARP hardware also. As much as I want a kit right now, I think Ill just consentrate on getting all I can out of the car NA for now. Im also going to start looking into a fogger kit.

Smartest thing you can do. One other thing, you may want to seriously consider, is going to a carb style intake. That would be a dramatic improvment over that garbage breadbox type POS that gm put on it, and would open up your options for what you can get away with for a nitrous kit (you could go with a speedtech diffuser plate instead of a fogger and be able to put 200 to it, and the other intake would probably be worth 20 hp over the lt1 type intakes)

something to think about.

I would suggest adjustable suspension first becuase you will just go up in SMOKE on the spray.

That kit above is fine, but that's not really what you're after unless you want to hide everything.

Plus, if you ever get a leak, want to make a jet change, have fun with that!

From what I have seen. Most people who modify or "port" a LTx intake manifold, I see actually cut the top off and makes it removeable so it can be secured with bolts. Not the easiest to work on but at least the whole intake would not have to be removed everytime for a jet change.

I do like that set up hiding everything. IMO I think thats trick **** and I love how they use the EGR tube that goes from the back of the manifold to header pipe.

Unfortunately that kit has the bottom cut out and even though it is tall, I think that intake requires a removal everytime.

AC, I love that kit too, but for all the reasons stated above, it's just a pain to deal with.
They make great DP kits (with or without N2O rails) that look very professional and fit over the Lt1 manifold.

I've been looking at single plane solutions like JL ws-6 suggested above, but I just don't
see people gaining the advantages they thought they would for their investment.
The Lt1 manifold, ported, actually seems to perform very well.

I want my car to appear pretty stock Couldnt you use a controller or inline jet to control the amount of spray? I do agree about it being a pain in the ***, wich is the reason I didnt buy that one when I had the chance.

Nahh... that's just an exhaust leak

You can put a fogger on the intake on the top side, I have seen it before but most like the money maker kit and me too But thats a lot of bread for a kit to be hidden...Come on Mike just put a plate behind that badboy and hit the streets up with me and we can make a lot of cash together!!!!

O yea a 355 forged can do 9s with spray

yeah i wanted that manifold too for the same reason as you but said no for the same reason. you definitely want a direct port for 200+ in my opinion, the plate tends to let cylinder 1 starve which is no good. best of luck though as i am on a similar path with mine!

Word..... Spoken like someone with a carb style intake..... it's worth AT LEAST 20hp. prolly more at solid roller valvetrain rpm levels....

the speedtech diffuser plate is a great plate but if you run an accufab 4 barrel throttle body and not an elbow then the 4 barrels don't line up with the 4 holes in the diffuser plate.... That was my first choice for plate but it wouldn't line up. So it was off to Nitrous Pro Flow for their plate (which is also a VERY high quality plate)... complete with burst panels and everything...

There's a couple different styles of that Diffuser plate, I'd look into which ones work with which type of TB.
