Default 75 Shot Basic Nitrous Questions

My buddy picked up a cold fusion wet kit for a LS1 and wants to spray his bone stock LS1 a 75 shot. We have no clue about nitrous so I figured I would post his questions here.
Will he need to upgrade the stock fuel pump, injectors or spark plugs?
Also its an automatic and does not want to spray thru the shifts so what would be a safe rpm range to set the window switch at? So that it wont turn on too early and it wont spray thru the shifts.
Thanks in advance

you will want to run a spark plug that is one to two steps colder than stock. the NGK
TR6 plugs have always been good for me. Stock Injectors will be fine. The stock Fuel Pump will work if the engine is "bone stock" as you state. Your window for shifting will depend on what RPM his car shifts at. Low setting should be around 3000 rpm. set the high to about 300-500 RPMs less than what the car shifts at. You will also want to retard the timing. Either get a Timing Tuner or do a search on here for "Timing Trick". This is what I have done on mine. It should pull 3 degrees of timing on a stock car, which will be good for the 75 shot. READ THE STICKIES AT THE TOP OF THIS SECTION!! Great info in these!!! Do your Research!!! Dont just throw the kit on and go!
