Default Storing bottle over the winter?

Are there any ill effects to keeping a near full bottle over the winter? Thinking about squeezing her on the street but want to make sure I don't blow it up since i need the block or the whole motor this winter weather I stroke or just rebuild it.
My question is will it hurt anything to let the bottle sit idle for 4 months or so? Would it be better to play with it and use it up so the bottle is empty for the winter months? Thanks

It sits in big storage tanks forever.....so a smaller tank wont hurt anything. And obviously the cold wont hurt it lol

My question is will it hurt the bottle? Not spending the winter under presure, is better, I would guess but is spending the winter under presure going to lessen the life of the valve?

From my knowledge with paintball, having 4500 psi of compressed air in a tank isn't exactly "good for it" but it can't really hurt it either.

My thought exactly. I was just curious if saving $20ish dollars of nitrous was worth keeping it around.

We keep our fire dept SCBA bottles full all the time @ 4500 PSI... Not sure how different a N20 bottle is. Obviously you'll see a pressure drop or increase from weather, hence using a bottle heater.
