Default FJO and Gen. IV engine

so im trying to hook up a FJO to my 08 sierra denali with the L92 and it wont learn the TPS signal... since the voltage doesnt go immediately back to where it is at idle, it slowly creeps down, the FJO wont pick up the signal. any ideas on how to fix this?

also, the purple wire going to the coils for the RPM lead, when anything at all is pulled from that wire, and especially when the FJO is hooked to it theres a noticeable change in the engine tone like its pulling too much power and not getting a proper spark... anyone ever seen this?

any input on how to fix these two issues would be great!!! thanks
