Default Tuning questions..

Motor is a little 11-1cr 347 ci, slugs and rings set for a 300 hit. Makes 449rwhp na through an 80E running an autolite 605 with a solid 12.8-1 AFR and about 29* of timing.. Truck has a 2 stage plate kit on it running on top of a Super Victor. Fuel pressure sits at 58lbs coming off the rail to both fuel noids. NX sent me fuel jets for the appropriate fuel pressure, however they show it at 55psi, so I'm guessing they will be a touch on the fat side from the get go... http://www.nitrousexpress.com/Instru...winjetting.pdf

I plan on making a few passes na to adjust some suspension stuff then going to the 1st stage 100 hit for a few passes. Then I'll step up to the 2nd stage (100 first+100second for 200). If all goes well, I'll re-jet the second hit to a 200 for a total of 300..

So, here are my questions..

I know plugs should be pulled every pass and checked with new ones going in but should I be changing plugs for each stage? If so, what plugs for what stage?

Also, should gap be changing for each stage?

I know I need to pull some timing, but where should I be going with that??

Thanks in advance..

I guess I'll take my chances running a Autolite 103 on the small hit and a NGK 3346 on the 2nd stage..

Figure I'll pull 8* timing on the first hit and 12* on the second and see where that lands me..

Run the 3346 on one stage and the 1049 when you have both turned on.

and when you go to 300 you might want to try a 9 in it. depends on what the 1049 looks like.

17 degrees on a 200 seems about right. maybe start a little lower and see what the plug says.
