Spark plug questions!!!
Spark plug questions!!! Fellows,
Im currently running BR7EF's in my H/C/I/E/N20 (150 shot) FRC. Couple questions. Heads are Cartek stage 4, cam is a small 228-232 582/598 116 with a Fast 90/90 setup along with a lot of other supporting mods.
How often do you check plugs after spraying? Ive sprayed these plugs maybe six passes and they seem fine right now but I havent eyeballed them.
What do you guys gap them at?
Im running about 21 degrees of timing with the nitrous and its not pulling a hair of timing during any of my last four passes and its running an 12.3AFR. We data logged it with HP. Should I throw some more timing into it or leave it like it is???
Best pass on a single stage nozzle kit is 10.50 @ 136.99 mph with a 1.59 short time. Im thinking of going with a Nitrous Daves direct port because I would LOVE to see a 9 sec pass on factory casted heads. Think its possible? Thanks for any info you can toss my way!!
