Default HSW Interface question?

Tell if I am making sense with the HSW interface...

Once I log my MAF Hz and find that my NA power maxes the Hz at say 9,000...
Then I log MAF Hz on a 100 shot and it goes right to 11,000Hz, at that point do I modify the IAT tables there to pull lets say 2 degree's of timing?

So, on NA I will never see these MAF readings so my timing would never retard that 2 degree's I have programmed into my tables.

This way the interface would on do what its supposed to do under nitrous ONLY?

Am I correct in my thinking?

I just dont like the idea of wet going threw a dry intake,I really like the dry and interface setup

See what you cylinder airmass is when the nitrous is activated. Then only modify those cells that are closest to it in the Intake Air Temp column for timing retard.

So for example at WOT NA your cylinder airmass is .52 g/cyl, and on the shot you are running it jumps to .96g/cyl. You have the Interface set to target the 158 degree column, so you would only modify the .88, .92, .96, 1.00, 1.04 cells of that 158 degree column. You can leave the rest of the column alone since you’ll never be in those cells when using nitrous.
