I have a 2 stage setup too but I could deal with only using one of them with a progressive. I've got some .042 jets for my fogger LOL

The fogger isn't a huge deal for me either. I'm sure I could work something out with a progressive. It's just another thing to turn me away from this race though. My car could be legal if I replaced my windshield with glass, but that's just another few hundred bucks wasted for 1 race.

I tell you what I think is sad. At the Ultimate Outlaws 275 race at MIR we had 26 entries with 4 of them being LSx N2O cars. 3 of them qualified in the top 16. Thats more entries than all of the heads up classes that the lsx shootout put together and this race had more lsx n2o cars qualify for it, and this was a race that let in just about anything from turbo mustangs to big block mopars. Its a shame we can't have a good heads up lsx n2o race at the shootout. I would love to see a place where we could all get together and see whats up. I remember reading where Robin said that the lsx nitrous racers weren't dedicated or something to that effect. I think these following racers would be more dedicated and more likely to come to this event than the field that these rules will probably pull. Also of these following racers who would be legal for the proposed rules? These in my opinion at the best of the best in the lsx nitrous world and I think it sucks that just about all of them are ruled out.

RPM
ATVracr / Shiz
Tuff
SMKN TA 95
GuessWho
Eastside - Not sure if they still have a car or not
Noyzee
Ericg69ss
FastBlackTA
LMR's Nitrous Car
98CamaroLSX
TroyJR - yellow bullet

I know there are more nitrous racers but I suck at remembering names.
I would not be legal. Especially with my new stuff.

Like Shiz said.....save myself the $$$ and race locally.

The frame rule is just stupid, and the lexan rule????? Cmon guys....

I have read most of these Real Street threads from LS1Tech to YB.

Why do so many nitrous racers suggest multi stages (which I agree with, if they are going to allow any F1 level blowers to race) but volunteer to remove progressive controllers?

If they are already allowed in the rules, why the heck are you suggesting to have them removed???
The N2O guys need all the help they can get!

Because progressives can be worked around. I would rather run 2 kits than run a progressor. BS3 helps with that though.

Yeah well, I would guess more people have progressive controllers than BS3?

The way the N2O rules are now, I wouldn't be so quick to give anything away.

I am in favor of Muti-Stages AND Progressive controllers.

Why eliminate any potential candidates?

Funny thing is we were legal for the class last year. LOL on 1 kit we went 5.31 ~an 8.4 pass.

We made changes to try to run with the fastest guys out there.
If the rules were out 5 years ago it would be 1 thing but to put new rules out that cut off the top 15 cars is dumb...

I agree.

You would think that they would check out some of the faster cars and see what they are running and maybe get some input from them. I don't think the people that made the rules know a whole lot about LS engines or F-Bodies for that matter...

All we can hope for is that they will listen and make some changes. If not, they are gonna lose ALOT of cars this year.

i would fit in the rules besides my wheelie bars, but those only bolt on.

i wont make the race, im to far away right now. work is very hard for me to leave so weather i fit in or not, i couldnt make it.
i was to bussy to even put my car back together this season.
oh well. i will be back.
what are the main rules people are not happy with? weight?

No dry sumps
No Canted valve heads
Stock frame in front of the struts
No Lexan in the front
Weight
They are allowing F1's to run but NO turbo's at all

Those seem to be the most hated rules so far LOL.

The only reason I don't fit is because when my front bumper support was removed I cut off the very front sections of the frame horns. I have seen a BUNCH of F-Bodies done that way. I am actually getting ready to cut mine even further back and make a new one out of aluminum.
