Interesting results from the 150-shot..
Took the car to Aftermath Performance in Ft. Myers last night to have the WS6 dyno'd on the 150-shot, came away both blown away and almost confused. See here for details: https://ls1tech.com/forums/dynamomet...l#post12845375
I'm running the Nitrous Outlet 78mm plate kit, jetted according to the jetcard (.062N/.038F), yet when we hit the spray it made waaaaaay more than expected. Actually it ran damn lean till we upped the fuel jet at which point it ran like a rapped ape with great vitals (AFR, timing etc..).
Question I pose is.. anybody esle had these kind of unexpected results from their jets? We checked pressures, bottle etc. and everything looked fine, just ended up with alot more power than expected.. ideas?

okay first good results and nice numbers. your numbers are very close to mine with stock short block also. now, your shot was not a 150 but rather a 200 based off of your results. understand that even though your jets say a size for a chart by the manufactor doesnt mean it is a 150 shot. a 150 shot will yeild a 150 shot. every car will see different results with the same kit. now the lean part is a lil weird but how lean did it get? where is your AFR now?

It just sounds to me like the added cylinder pressure and increased burn rate from the bigger shot brought the burn-rate and tune parameters to a closer match, thus increasing efficiency.
You may have had a relatively slower burn rate before.
Or, your N2O pressure gauge could be off.

would it be safe to say if you had a cam that is better for n20 than n/a, cold n-p plugs, exhaust tuned for hp on the juice, you would yield more than the pill ratings that a motor set up for n/a would.
