quick way to remove nx opener

Default quick way to remove nx opener

am i missing something or do you have to undo tbolt clamp to remove the unit and bottle for refilling

then i guess i would have to put hand wheel back on

Should just take the electric motor off. You should be able to turn the opener valve wheel by hand with the motor off.

so use the allen key and remove the 4 screws?

See the big plastic **** on my opener (yours will be smaller if you have the factory one, I think it was actually knurled head on the thread from the factory)? Unscrew what you got where that big plastic **** is on my photo, then lift the opener assembly off the valve. That will expose the valve handle that the motor turns.

You can get the instruction set for it at the NX site if you hunt fer it.

Unless you have the 'old' style NX opener. In which case you need to un-clamp it every time. Kinda a PITA.
Beer has the 'new' NX opener (made for the past 3 or 4 years now), which has a single thumb screw which holds it on.

Thumb Screw! Dats the term I was looking fer LOL...

The old NX opener musta been why I started with the Dynotune opener. I thought they all had Thumb Screws

ahh i have the old purple one...seems like a pain, but will be nice if it works right

now adjusting the 'clutch' -- thats done by removing the 4 allen head screws?

bottle openeer works great, i think its soemthing we will get used to.....thats what you get for buying a purple opener just to match the interior of your TBSS
