Remote Bottle Opener Wiring I receintly bought a pair of NOS remote bottle openers off ebay. They unfortunately didn't come with a wiring diagram. After looking them over, I figured that with three wires how could I go wrong. Red - White - Black. Open - Closed - Ground. WRONG! Why would NOS change the industry standard for the color of a ground wire. The way it's supposed to go is, Red - Open / Black - Closed / White - Ground. They both work fine now.
