Dan, I'm still shopping. I emailed Mike Norris in Indy, but haven't heard back. I have someone closer to home lined up, but have heard from one person that had a bad experience with this tuner. Nobody's perfect, but it still gives me reason for concern.

Any of us Florida guys will tell you that Mike Norris is THE MAN to have tune your car. I (along w/ countless others) had nothing but good experiences w/ him while he was still down here and consider his move a great loss for our area. You may want to give him a call directly, always was and am sure still is a busy man. He just traveled back down here to FL to finish up some cars, plus I'm sure there's a lot on his plate involving the transition.

Thanks for the info on Mike. While I can appreciate him being busy (aren't we all?), if the email address in on the website, I would expect a reply in a reasonable amount of time. Certainly less than 48 hours, IMO. I hope to hear from him soon.

I 100% agree. Definitely try that phone number out though, 407-616-2518.

I just heard that my FAB9 is still 2 weeks off, so I still have some time to decide on a tuner. Still not reassuring to see he hasn't answered your EM either.

Haven't heard back from Mike Norris. I'll resend the EM, I guess. The questions I had could be answered via EM and not cut into his tuning time. I know I wouldn't want to be interrupted while tuning to answer the phone. I thought I was being courteous by using the email and allowing him to answer them when it was more convenient for him. Oh well.

Same here...I resent the email and no reply, figured email would be easier, IDK??

Joe is having Herter come tune cars on May 2nd. Unfortunately, my car will need at least 4 hours, I'd guess and Brian's only going to be here one day (Joe has 6 cars lined up already, IIRC). I'm hoping that Joe can convince Brian to stay over an extra day and tune my car if I rent the dyno. If he stays, are you interested in having him tune yours too? Nothing against Mike, but Auburn (where the dyno is) is a lot closer than Indy. I'm hoping I can just send my PCM to Brian and have him do a baseline / break-in tune and then do the dyno tune May 3rd. Otherwise, I think I'll have either Mike or Brent Malone do the tuning.

Ended up using Steve Williams (Frost) for my tuning. I sent my PCM out today. Going to do the dual-flash PCM, too. He's coming to Fort Wayne to finish the tuning on the dyno in early May.

I get it. You like your tuner. I got it the first time. My break-in tune is mail-order. The final tuning will be on a dyno in May when he travels to my city. Fair 'nuff?

I could care less if you go to my tuner. He don't "need" your business LOL.

It is funny because you made a big deal about getting the "best" tuner that you could and you ended up with a mail order tune!

God luck with your car.
