Default Nitrous Questions..

O.k. Here is the combo

It is in the building process right now, but nothing will be changing...

2001 Trans am
BMR/Spohn etc suspension
TH400 w/ TB RMVB
365 cubes (Built for spray)
MTI stage 2 R heads (309/232 cfm)
Custom Cam 237/255 .663/.647 112 lsa
11.36:1 compression
Water Meth kit
12 bolt
TNT ring kit
Professional Products intake
NW 90 MM
28x10.5 slicks or 275 DR's (on rare occasions only 150 shot)
C10 Fuel (104 octane, non oxygenated)

I am looking at a few questions and here they are:

What stall.... thinking around 4K (true street events) but what would you recommend? Once I have the motor tune worked out, what starting point for the 150 shot tune, and same for a 250 shot. I will be funning the water meth with the N20 Kit.

Thanks guys... this is my first true race car build, and I would like it to be enjoyable.... Always ran stick cars, or N/A auto cars before

call up a good converter comany (ptc, yank, circled, FTI, performabuilt, etc) and tell them your combo and what you are looking for...nothing will outperform a good custom built converter

O.K. talked with Greg at FTI today, he has pretty much got me lined out on the converter.... I am going with an FTI custom.

Other question, what plugs for the 150, and the 250 shots respectively...

on C10 (104 octane, non oxygenated) considering the water meth kit? ?

any guess on timing window...

Thanks for the help guys....

On the 150 the BR7EF will be fine. On the 250 you are on the 8 and maybe 9 range. Check the coloring on the strap of the plug and that will tell you. Odds are number 8 will be fine.

I would ditch the water meth kit. No reason to over complecate the set up. The nitrous will give you all the bennifit you need.
