Sounds like a WOT switch (Wide Open Throttle). It activates the Nitrous system. You should check out the stickies on top of this Nitrous section if you haven't already. I have learned alot from them.

I would call chris @ nitrous outlet and let them help you. You just cant throw nitrous on a car without getting knowledge on how it works.

1. You need to run colder plugs
2. you need to reard your timming
3. I would upgrade your intank pump
4. I would get a nitrous controler
5 Its better to be safe and have your motor then not to have you motor.
Good luck

The wot switch on the gas pedal is ok. I would look into the diablo tune and make sure that it didn't advance the timing. If so, you'll want to get that off before spraying it. What spark plugs are you running? Are you running any other safety items?
