Default microedge 6 speed users.

I think I know all there is about this microedge but I still can't get my 1st gear lockout to work. Things that should affect it are as follows:

shift rpm, point that computer must see to recognize shift: 5500
drop rpm, amount of drop required to rec gear change 500
reset rpm. set at 1500.
gear 1 none, stage 2,3,4 set on stage 1
trigger. 4.25. my WOT is really 4.5
window 3 and 6300.

I can spray without problem if I program gear 1 stage 1. but it will not spray it will only say triggered if I set gear 1 to none. It doesn't matter how many times i shift. it just says triggered which i think means that its seeing the 4.25. but not the gear change. So six speed guys... what do you have your settings at for first gear lockout? I have version 1.0.3 if it matters.

i think yopur rpm reset is too low. ill have to look at mine tomorrow but it may have to see that rpm after the shift to recognize the gear change. not totally sure, hopefully someone from HSW will chime in.

RPM reset is exactly what it sounds like...when you drop below 1500 rpm it thinks your in first gear again. Start car, it knows your in first. Shift at 5500+ it now thinks your in second and you are, shift again your in 3rd etc. When you go below 1500 the cycle starts all over.

Make sure that when you shift you actually drop 500 or more rpm.

maybe i should lock out first and see what it does on mine...

rpm reset does exactly what you guys said... so it's not a factor. One actually wants his or her rpm reset to be set just a few ticks above idle. So it resets the system when you stop. Iroc, please set your first gear to none and let me know if your lock out works.
