Default Solenoid nut missing pic inside..

I was having problem with nitrous bugging when using it. I thought it was a missfire because spark plug wires were bad. I have drand new msd with new plugs and still bugging; so I looked closely and found this was the problem;

so Do I just put another nut on top of it and call it a day?

I believe so. I think all it does is tighten the casing around the solenoid.

I think it cause a nitrous leak and thats why the car is bogging on the juice. But there is a shaft inside that goes all the way to the bottom of the nitrous line orifice. Now the casing is loose around it, so maybe the mechanism cannot function properly.

Anyway, I'll just put a new nut on and see what happens. So just a warning about it, check your solenoids nut once in a while to be sure its tight!

My top nut was loose on my brand new NX lightning solenoid as well. Aftermarket parts always need attention!
