What kind of pump do N20 refill stations use?
I've seen refill stations for about $750. What kind of pump do they use? Can I go down to Home Depot and pick up a pump and some lines and make my own? What are you guys paying for your 65lb refill bottles. I got a quote today from Praxair for $300. That's $4.61 a pound.

The refill station i have is an NX one...its probably $100 worth of parts besides the pump.
The pump is made by a private manufacturor (call nx and they can tell you). The pump is VERY VERY expensive...maybe because the pump has to push pressures of around 800-1200 psi...
Around here i pay about $2/lb from local gas supply...

I refill my own and outher peaples bottles with out a refilling station, all you need is a high pressure hose a fittings and a gauge. First I put my 15bl. bottle in the frezer and let it set for a bout and hour then I take the mother bottle and hook the gauge and hoses up and then put a heater in frount of the mother bottle and get the pressure up a round 1000psi. then I take the 15bl. bottle out of the frezzer and set it on a set of digital scales and weight the bottle empty, then right it down then hook up the hose the your bottle the open up the mother bottle all the way, then open up the 10 or 15bl.bottle and watch the scales usealy the moter bottle will equalize it self with the small bottle DO NOT over fill ,There must rume in side the bottle for expansion when the bottle gets hot. and make sure the bottle your filling is empty. I have filled several hundered bottle with know problems at all.

$170 for 100 lbs here from the welding shops. Wholesale I can get it cheaper. The retail price is around $3.50.
How do you all like the refill stations you have? Any problem or gripes?
