Default Nano Bottle Question

I wanted to know how you guys shut down your nano bottle when not in use. Meaning that you are done driving your car and won't be driving for at least a week. Are you just shutting the valve on the Nano bottle,or are you bleeding the system?

On a side note I have only ran 1 bottle through my truck, but the Nano bottle worked awesome. Also here are some pics of my bottles.

I just closed the bottle after I'm done using it. I'll always have residual nitrogen or comp air in the lines, not a biggie.

Did u dyno ur truck before and after the nano tanks? How much did it make a difference? I just put my kit on but haven't sprayed with the nano bc the tank is already hot and upto pressure due to air temp.

No dyno numbers with the spray. I'm awd so it's kind of a pain to find a dyno.

I would close the valves and bleed the lines so there isn't constant pressure on them.

Are you running the same tune on and off the nano? Ive been told by my tuner that if i take off the nano ill need a retune even if the bottle is at 1000psi when i open it. I cant even use the nano during the summer because its too hot out(daily driver, so no icing down the bottle).

i actually have not sprayed with the NANO hooked up. but it does concern me whether the tune will be off. i have heard this from a friend of mine who has a nano and was having issues with the afr. Currently i spray with just the bottle and no heater. pressure is always a consistent 900psi, plus due to the air temp and the fact that my trunk area gets hot as hell when driving. i will use the nano when it gets colder out this fall. right now, i am spraying a 150 shot and there was no change in the tune. afr on a 100 shot was a solid 11.7. i don't know what will happen with a 150 shot.

Thats a really nice looking install. I always turn my nitrous and NANO bottles off but I do not worry about bleading the system.

I went to the dyno the first time after I got the NANO expecting to need more fuel. My car did not require a jet change (Air fuel ratio stayed in the high 11s on and off the NANO). My car is tuned for 1000psi normally so that may have something to do with it. FYI, I still gained power on the NANO without changing my nitrous jet.

Thanks good to know, I may just throw it on the dynmo to check a/f on and off the nano.

I agree we have had customers as well that didn't have to do a jet change and still picked up power. We also have had ones that needed to change jets to get the AFR dialed in.

I agree very nice setup and yes most people will need a jet change with the NANO system if their a/f is already dialed in. Some people have systems that are rich before they add it.

That setup is pretty cool, but I would NOT be comfortable with that long of lines from solenoids to plate...

I hear you man. When we were laying it out both my friends (who were doing the install) said with my small shot it would be okay. But I did question it at the time. I'm only running a 100 shot & everything is working like it should so far.
