Default Are my times slow???

I was just wondering what everyone thought of my times i put down last night. I feel like they were slow, but i'm not sure. My car is a 02 T/A ws6, m6, with 4.10's in the stock rear, and a smooth bellow. I just added a zex wet kit sprayin a 75 shot, and nitto 555r drag radials(prob. about shot). So, here is my motor times. 60 ft. - 2.113
1/8et - 8.80
1/8mph - 83.43 This was the best of 2 runs, and i was having a problem with traction.

Times on 75 shot.
60ft. - 1.86
1/8et - 8.08
1/8mph - 88.46 This was the best of 5 runs, and traction was a little better. I did have an overall best 60ft. time of 1.78, but for some reason i only ran a 8.28 at 87.34mph.
I'm guessing my bottle pressure was low, as i dont have a bottle heater, and the temp yesterday was mid 80s, and less last night. So, please let me know what you think, Should i be doing better(thats how i feel) or is this about right.

There's alot of questions I could ask to be more specific but based off what you listed I think a 5mph gain and a 7 tenth reduction in et for a 75 shot is pretty good. I think you can go 7s pretty easy with some more tuning and traction.

If that's really all you have done to the car man that's not terrible. Nitto tires are good to have fun on but unless you have a lot of suspension tuning they aren't really known for dead hooking so you probably gave up a hair bit of time on the line. No big deal man keep at it. 7s shouldn't be hard. Try a bottle pressure gauge and experiment with pressures. A completely full bottle wont run as well as a bottle with a pass or two on it either due to rapid pressure loss. Try carrying two bottles and swapping them out after a few pass's. Get your launch right and work on your 60 foot time a bit and you will be right there.

For a basicly stock car with only a 75 shot ,that looks about right . You did pick up over 7 tenths. Mid 80's temp is not going to help you any either

I ran about the same MPH as you in the 1/8th(83mph) but I was in the low 9's due to my tires being junk(I was still spinning when I got to the finish line) All I have is a lid, GMS maf, headers/ypipe/LM1, and 3.73's turning bald street tires.

How do you like the 75 shot?what kit are you running? I was thinking about getting a small kit like that this fall.

I am running a zex wet kit. with a zex window switch 75 -125, but i haven't tried anything but the 75, due to timing. I really like the kit, no problems, easy to install

Thats not bad. I would tweak the suspension and what air pressure are the tires at? Keep in mine your first 3 to 4 passes out of a bottle on a 75 will be your fastest. I would invest in a bottle heater and get your bottle pressure up to 950.

Thats a pretty good gain on the 75hp shot and as stated above get the dialed in to get that 60ft down and your 7's easily.
