Default rpm cutoff

stock internal. h/c th400, shift light comes on at 6500. what can i safely set the max rpm on the n2o to, to make sure it sprays through the shift?

Where's the limiter? You're going to have to set it as close to the limiter as you can, while being careful not to have it lay on the limiter when it shifts. I'd start it 100 rpm above the shift point and see what it does.

limiter is 7k so i dont think hitting it will be a problem. i will start at 6600 and go from there.

In the same situation now, limiter is at 68 and I spray from 36 to 66. With the MSD window switch I have it recommends at least 200 rpms below the limiter. Remember this two if it touches the limiter the spray cuts off then has to cut back on when back in range, this equals less ET and less MPH. I also have found that on the spray it doesn't hurt as much if you shift a little lower rpm wise like it hurts when your just NA. I only have a shift light and I set it at 63 so by the time I see it and hit the shifter it's probably 65 or so, I really need to log it??
