Good weather and a little fine tuning the tire pressure and 2-step helped me get a little close to the elusive 9 second pass I've been gunning for. Despite the TruTrac in my S60 taking a dump, I was able to pull some ok 60's and get the car down the track.
First pass in time trials was aborted after a crazy launch. First pass in qualifications I cut a 1.4x 60' but missed 3rd. It wasn't until the last pass in qualifications that I got a clean pass which was also my new PB. It went 10.35 @ 135 on a 1.5 60'. Race weight was 3,615 and I'm pretty sure the diff going out was hurting my short times. I believe the 1/8 times were 6.69 @ 104.
I'm in the process of pulling the TruTrac and should have a spool on the way sometime this week. I'll be trying to do some weight reduction and hope to hit the track again when the hot weather takes a break down here in TX. Thanks again to all the guys at Nitrous Outlet for getting me closer to my goal.
