do I need a window switch

I took the plunge and purchased a nitrous kit for my 02 F body that includes a Lingenfelter launch control to retard the timing ( the window switches were out of stock). My question is, should I get a window switch to avoid a situation where the engine hits the factory rev limiter? The car is a A4 so I'm not worried about missing a shift, but It could happen if say a driveshaft breaks or I over rev going through the traps.

A window switch is always a good idea. Its also worth the money every time. If you have the funds available, I would purchase one.

I was in the same situation a few months ago and the switches were out of stock. talked to Dave and he strongly suggested me getting one anyway so i got one from summit. Very gald I did because I have hit the limiter more than once on the dope. GET ONE!
