mine is in the bottom of the elbow. the air comes around the elbow so fast it can push more nitrous to one side. i was told that the bottom center in the best it sprays more even. but i am no pro.

I dont think it makes a difference where you put it. If youve ever seen how much comes out when you spray you would probably feel the same way. I had no idea but I fired my kit into a bucket to test it and it was insane the amount of fog that came out of it. Maybe an expert has a better opinion but that is my .02.

Thanks for the imput guys. I just didn't want to tap my trickflow elbow then find out there's a better place to put it. I know the general rule of thumb is 2-6' away from the tb blades. Just was trying to see if there was any one spot/angle/poistion that was better then another so I'm not regretting the placement. I was thinkin the center bottom too but I didn't think I'd be able to sneak both lines under it.

you could tap both sides of the elbow towards the top for a little better distribution IMO. not that hard to rig up a dual nozzle setup.

I found this worked well for me and allowed me to ditch the stock lock nut that came with the nozzle and thread my elbow to get the nozzle farther into the intake elbow.
