In fact, it's not me who really bought those engines he's is a customer of mine I'm his mechanic , I said the same you told me about upgrade stock parts I just wanted more opinions, and yeah he finds the LQ9 very cheap, but it's not that easy to do it, he's kind of a rich person or something, about the Colorado it does is a GMC if you want I can upload some pics, this is mexican, here is strange to see one of them, most are chevrolet...

the gmc thing, im not sure of. but i have 25 trucks most are chevy/gmc. my sales men drive the small trucks and the gmc's i have are canons and the chevys are Colorado. maybe mexico is different.

lol, that's why he came with me, last 4 engines weren't my business i just wanna convince him that most ppl think same think about stock parts should be upgrade, about gmc and chevy matter I think it is chevy even truck is marked with both emblems.

Thanks man, I appreciate it! Honestly im not sure at the moment. My cars not ready, but we were planning on taking my brothers. Then that changed, and he decided to start on his turbo build. So im definitely gonna try and make it down, just not 100% sure yet.

Money is raping me at the moment. Just can't justify taking time off work and rolling down there, especially w/out the car, which won't be ready and I don't have a trailer. Not gonna take a 200 shot stock bottom end car down there to have it break and pay to tow it back. I don't think I'm going to make it down. Money is raping me at the moment. This isn't a very nitrous friendly race setup anyways, im sure you would have to pull a couple more degrees to get the motor to live. Honestly, I don't know how many of our big hitters are gonna make it. Most of our big cars are down at the moment.
But, I will be attending TX2K11. TSC may be a sponsor for the event this year. I don't think my new setup will be ready by then, but we'll see. I'll be there regardless to have a badass time though.
Heck yah, i plan on having my car 100% by then and bringing it down again. It's always a great time in Houston!
It'll be a good time nonetheless! I'm planning on a 408/PT88 build, kinda looking to stay 6speed, but we'll see if I can get one that can somewhat handle that kinda power. Should make around 1000 on pump through a 6speed...
Thatll do it man, the turbo stuff is really cool. I would run a Th400 if i was in your shoes, but to each their own. Either way you car will run real hard!
