The lines are not set to handle the same pressure.

NX stuff has B nuts crimped on and fuel line is push thread fittings. And the line itself is not rated to the 1200psi you have for NX.

All of our braided lines are crimped. Only difference is the color of the B nut.

We do sell some aeromotive lines and fittings that are push style fittings tho.

And unless they've got something new, he shouldn't be using those push style fittings for nitrous.

Correct. I was just mentioning that some lines that leave here are not crimped NX lines. I just didnt want anyone to come behind me and say that EVERYTHING we do isnt all crimped. But every NX Braided line is crimped.

There are a ton of variables there. What in the system is #4? How straight of a shot is it? What kind of fittings? etc. We need to know more about it before we can give you an educated guess

What is the material on the inside of the hose? Make sure its rated for the pressure and material being used. Braided rubber shouldn't be used with nitrous. You'll also want to run swagged or crimped fittings with higher pressures.

^ what he said above, the length of the run is also important. Some people say that -4 can support 300+, others disagree.

Yah, definitely agree! I have just seen some class restriction stuff where they are restricted to a -4 line and have put alot of spray through it. Would I try it on my car, no sir.
