Plugs and N2O
A) Stock-why don't these work well?
B)TR6-I know these are ok for any size shot but how is N/A performance going to be?
C)TR55IX-irridiums-I have these now-will these be ok for 75 and 150 shots?
I am running a small (75) shot but I will be putting in a dual stage sytstem for a 150 shot.
In case it matters, I have a forged bottom end LS6/4.10'sLS1 edit if there are changes I should make-suggestions...
Thanks
B) TR6 is only good for 150 and below, and even at 150 its pushing it. Better to go another step colder. NA, I ran em gapped at .038 mostly, on a 150 shot and NA suffered ZERO. I actually ran better with them.
C) 75 should be ok, not, not, not 150. The plug will work but sooner rather than later you will burn the plug up and send a nice chunk of the ground strap, electrode, or worse the porcelain insulator into the cylinder...not good.
Tuning, turn the timing down, make sure you have enough fuel via the AFR, and no KR, have fun,
Stay away from platinum tipped plugs for spray and it really is to each his own for plugs. whether you prefer NGK, Champion, AC Delco or any of the others. hope this helps.
