Are there any downsides of NANO?

We have systems that support up to 550hp per nitrous bottle. We have not done much advertising in the high horsepower market yet. Our fastest pass to date is a 6.18 in the 1/4 mile.

Basically it is a freeze pack that you can use in the pits to keep the bottle cooler on hot days. It has a reflective surface and it is freezable. We usually sell them for 2x for $10 shipped.

Guys If I remember right, you can also get the bottle too cold...so don't go overkill on trying to get an arctic atmosphere lol. Plus if the bottle is in the car out of sunlight and your using it, it will keep itself fairly cool

Are you an overclocker? I worry that a peltier is basically not powerful enough, it may not do much, but try it.
I have been thinking of ways to apply overclocking cooling techniques (assuming that is also the origin of this idea for you) to cars too. I think a phase change unit would be crazy, or an LN2 pot, that would add almost no weight, as opposed to the phase unit, but the former could run 24/7, the latter would only be good for drag passes. Should be easy to make a chiller with an Igloo cooler) or a nice fabricated insulated box), with dry ice in it, a fan in the cooler, a submersible pump, with a heat exchanger in the cooler, and run plumbing to the outside of the bottle somehow, you'd want a lot of surface area contacting the bottle (and run water with isopropyl in it, or acetone, these can go pretty cold and still flow). An A/C unit can also be adapted into a chiller, there's an OEM Ford system like this.

Lol, I used to do a little bit of overclocking back in the day, nothing crazy like the setup you are talking about. I just oc my 1.33 athlon to 1.8ghz with a dragon orb 3 and a bunch of fans. I knew about peltier units, but never used them. I think the one I am going to use is 168watts, we'll see. I have my nano and nitrous tank in my glove box, so they don't get any direct heat or sunlight. I also have a 220mm fan that I will also use, but doing these stuff is just for fun, I wasn't expecting them to really make much of a difference since my setup is already pretty isolated to the heat. And I have tinted windows, so heat isn't really a concern of mine, these are just little projects to do. Plus, I needed something for my heater switch to turn on, lol.

The kits that I have installed the down fall is that most of the horsepower shops have not jumped on the NANO band wagon. So after you spend the 30-40 on filling the nitrous bottle you have to drive else where to fill the compressed air tank. Some places wont fill because they think it is for a Kegerater. Which I found is funny. The ones that I have installed the Nano bottle is like 4 bucks for the 3500 tank. Wish they got a chiller blankets but everyone got T shirts so that is no big deal, bags of ice are readly reachable in town. LOL

Slammin86- Let me know if the places I sent you will work for you.
Also, we are beginning to have more and more dealers and guys at the track with filling services. This way it is easier to recieve fills.

Yes ofcourse. When it is above 85 degrees. It's pretty straight forward when your out at night you will not need it. If you are at the track and it's really hot you can keep it in the shade, damp rag, or ice bag. There are many more benefits you receive using Nano over a standard system with a heater. You will see .2 to .7, mph, smooth dyno graphs, every run feels just like the first, no wiring, no dead battery's, and make pass after Pass with it.
