Opinions on this setup please.
1994 Trans Am 134k original miles on stock LT1 4l60e no stall, etc. The entire ignition system was replaced with top notch parts this summer. 3" flowmaster catback, lt4km, tb foil, ewp, plus mods in sig.
I have been slowly peicing together a wet kit to run next spring at the strip. Here is the rundown so far:
HSW 10lb bottle w/gauge
Bottle heater, no pressure switch
Used NX selenoids, unkown brand purge
Typical 6an, 4an hoses
Planning to mount bottle with spacers between rear seats. 15* angle, i hope
HSW microedge wit a/f and timing puller
NGK BR7EF plugs
NX nozzle into cast aluminum elbow with bung
Tap into schrader valve for fuel
Adj AFPR, @ 45psi
Ok now, my questions.
-Intake manifold gasket, needs to be done. Im considering deleting my egr while im in there, im running stock manifolds, should i just plug everything up? or just leave it in?
-Does it matter how far apart my selenoids are? Ive been considering mounting the fuel noid by the TB and the other two where the washer resevoir was and purge out the little birds mouth in the front bumper
-HSW Interface was purchased used and has the 5 wire LS2 MAF and I need the 3wire for LT1. Is there a magic adaptor somewhere?
-Should I run a standard WOT switch inline and/or a fuel pressure safety switch? The interface has them built in but im looking for some other references.
-Newb ?s What should I run for bottle pressure? Do I need to use a relay to power the heater element or can i just run it off my battery with a fuse?
I apologize for the long post.
Any input will be appreciated.
Thanks

-Does it matter how far apart my selenoids are? Ive been considering mounting the fuel noid by the TB and the other two where the washer resevoir was and purge out the little birds mouth in the front bumper
You will be fine moutning everything in those locations
-HSW Interface was purchased used and has the 5 wire LS2 MAF and I need the 3wire for LT1. Is there a magic adaptor somewhere? No clue on this
-Should I run a standard WOT switch inline and/or a fuel pressure safety switch? The interface has them built in but im looking for some other references. If the interface has provisions for them i'd use it
-Newb ?s What should I run for bottle pressure? 950-1000PSI Do I need to use a relay to power the heater element or can i just run it off my battery with a fuse? I would run a relay
I apologize for the long post.

Follow Chris's advice, he knows what he is talking about. To add to his advice. Replace the fuel pump. I would also do a leak down compression check on the motor before you start spraying the car just to make sure you dont have rings that are failing you. If so I would not spray the car.
dnkynrbk: I replaced the pump with a hotwired walboro 255 in the last year and have an afpr at 45psi so I should be set. The compression test however I did not think of and thats a really logical idea, thank you.
