Question lt1 nos kit?

im looking into a nos kit for my lt1 Z. its got catback, intake, and shift kit otherwise completely stock. i read that the ZEX systems are good for starters. is there anything i need to worry about it damaging my internals? will it be reliable? how much can i spray and not have to worry about damage on the engine? im going to school and this is the only car ive got so i cant afford to pay for it to be rebuilt if something goes down the *******. thanks in advance for your help.

harris speedwork wet kits are great. I would pick up a 255 fuel pump and colder plugs for safety. YOu could spray a easy 150 shot with out doin any harm. Thats if your motor is in good shape now.

If you really cant afford the repairs, you need to keep a very small shot size in it. Last thing you would want is for the stock tranny/bearings/10 bolt to give out even if the tune up is good.

We have some very simple and budget friendly options. Check out our mainline here:

Nitrous is the biggest bang for the buck when comparing dollar for horse power. However it is to be respected. You can easily do this and do it safely while maintaining the ability to keep your car as a daily driver with out hurting it. But the key is to do it right and not take short cuts on the tunning or running a poor quality part.

The Zex system is a great beginner system and if you are lookingfor something with a all in one box design I would stick with it over the other choices on the market. The zex system does have a built in TPS sensor in the box so for easily installation and wiring I would suggest using there window switch in conjuction with it.

The main disadvantage to using a all in one bod design is that you are limited to the power level and accessories you can use in conjuction with it.

If you are looking for some comparables please take a look at our Brand X product line. The quality is awesome and the pricing is very competitive. The great thing about it is you are not limited with future growth of the system and you can use anytype of controller or electronics in conjuction with it.

Let me know if I can answer any question you may have.
