Default E85 nitrous jetting

Hey guys,

I recently switched over to E85 and Im looking to take the car out for the first time. The car is makin about 430RWHP with 42# SVO injectors and a single Walbro Pump.

First question is, how much do you think I can spray on it, if at all?

Second question, id I can spray on it, I have a smaller jetting set that came with the kit, a .034 and a .020, the ar is running about 11.3:1 on my DynoJet wideband, do you think that I have enough cushion in the tune to use the standard fuel jetting?

A single walbro is good to around the 550rwhp mark so you might be able to spray a 100hp shot on the car. You very well might run into fueling issues of the pump not keeping up with the car on the juice. When we tune a vehicle we like to get the AFR around the 11.8 mark and with you at 11.3:1 you have a little room to play with the fuel jettting.

You'd have to figure in the increased fuel consumption with E85 too. Don't you need like 15-20% more E85?

That might push you over the edge.

Here is the conversion for E85

E85 Jetting Conversion
25-30% x Fuel Jet ( 25% = leaner jetting, 30% = richer jetting, 28% = Pretty much spot on )
Ex. 42 ( fuel Jet ) x 1.3 or 42 + 30%

Hey Chris, I just want to make sure, the walbro 255 will support 550whp with E85?

Thanks

a single walbro wont support enough fuel. if your car makes 500 hp on 91 octane... then you need a fuel system that will support 30% more... so basically you need a fuel system that will support 650 hp for e85 since it uses 30% more fuel. do dual walbros and call it good to be safe....

If it was my car, I would run the single walbro for the motor and then use a standalone for the bottle.
