Default What to check on used kit? (Pics)

I got a dry shot kit off a member on here. Just wondering what i can do to make sure its in 100% running order, he said the solenoids are in good condition still and havent been used but 3 or so times it was on the car, and i believe him but still want to make sure nothing has changed and its all good to go! System is n.o.s except for the nitrous outlet bottle: dry shot kit, window switch, pills, jets, solenoids, purge, bottle heater, pressure gauge, hobbs switch, switches and wiring, lines, mounting brackets..

If i know what my potential problems will be and what i can do to make sure everything will be oporating smooth, or at least some stuff i can do to check or look for, that would be awesome. Thanks in advance!

you should be able to hook them up and test them with some nitrous to it and if it works fine you are good. How old are the noids?

Yeah pretty much all ive done is looked over it all, examined the condition of the threads, inside of lines, valves, jets, ect. Nothing really stands out, looks pretty clean. Take apart the solinoid?

Here are some pictures of what i was looking at tonight. The third solinoid doesnt have a nut on the end of it and is dented on the side and has a gap where it sits. The inside doesnt appear very clean either

Unless your getting a screaming deal I'd look into something like Nitrous Outlets Brand X stuff. Low point of entry cost and great quality stuff. Those pictures look "ok" but buying used **** can burn you in the end, especially if a noid fails.

Ill give you my honest opinion, those look like . I wouldn't run those, they look rusted to ****. Invest in some new products especially dealing with nitrous.

Hook em up to the kitchen sink and have them squirt water randomly at passer-bys.

I don't think I've seen a kit in that bad of condition before. I wouldn't use it on my lawnmower... Get your money back if you can. Yeah it was used 2-3 times... Every day for 10 years...
