Plate / MAF questions
Plate / MAF questions I bought the car with a Spiral Ported Throttle body. However the previous owner stated it was still a 75mm T/B? I am not sure why you would not have it ported to 78 but apparently its not.
My question is will a 78mm Plate fit a 75mm T/B or do I just need to go ahead and purchase a new MAF/TB?
Also can I purchase a new 78 or 90mm Throttle body and not upgrade the LS6 intake? Or do they have to match up?

LS1 or LS6 intake I believe is 78mm opening and are 3 bolt pattern. BBK Makes an 85mm TB you can convert to fly by wire (F-Bodies are cable, Y bodies are fly by wire). I have a stock TB (99) and a Shaner ported TB I could sell ya if your interested (I went to a Fast 102). I have an LS6 intake for sale as well, if your still running the LS1.
If your going to a 90 mm TB the bolt pattern is different (its four Bolt), you would need a FAST 90/92 or Fast 102 Intake or LS2 intake for route.

Sweet thanks. It already has an LS6 intake (Was a LS6 crate longblock) but that would explain why I can't seem to find any 75mm nitrous plates lol. What size is the shaner if its over 78 pm me a price.
