NOS Top Shot

NOS Top Shot I am running a carb'd ls1 and I have hood clearance issues. If I run a nos plate my air cleaner hits the hood so I was thinking about running the NOS Top Shot kit which is hidden in the air cleaner and sprays directly in the carb. Has anyone out there used this kit or heard anything about it?
It's always looked really "gimmickey" to me. How tall is your filter? Any way you can get one a little bit shorter, or even a drop base, to give you room to clear the plate? Are spray bars in the intake an option?

If hood clearance is your only issue then spray bars are an option that you should definitely to look into!

We can do a spray bar setup in the intake which will give you some clearance. I would rather see you in a spray bar setup than any plate and for sure a better option than the top shot.
If you want to stick with your plate get some pictures of the setup and we can see what you have to work with. I would also like to encourage you to test fire the intake off of the car to make sure the distribution is correct.

Yeah I have no room at all left for a plate I already had to customize my setup to get the hood to close over my air cleaner. I did not know about a spray bars in the manifold but it def looks like the best choice I will be in contact with you guys for prices soon.
