Another - Progressive Controller Question

Another - Progressive Controller Question Is the only progressive controller out there made by NOS? $500 is still just to much.
I found couple of others: http://www.mpsracing.com/products/Schnitz/no05c.asp but still $480
or
an English one - can't find the link, but just can't imagine buying from overseas.
Anyone have one that works . is the F.R.E.D still being sold?
I really would like to leave the line at 125 and finish at 200-250. 200, or even 150, off the line just isn't going to cut it with out shitty track prep up here.

No, I have a progressive system. A Venom 2000, it is a screw-type solenoid (the only kit I know of that has this) Unfortunatly for you, it tops out at 180 shot. Also I believe NX makes the Maximizer that pulses your noids so that your 200 shot can start out at a 125 shot. I have seen a few folks are our track kicked out for that system running right (no roll cage running high 10's) 
Note: If I could ever cut a 1.5 60' I think my times would better, but 2.73's and a 3000 stall with 2.5 STR so... it probably will not happen till that changes.

I' ve got a FRED it works great! No complaints here. I believe Allan Futral is also running FRED/Maximizer.
The company that used to sell FRED (John Stewart's Nitrous Warhouse) may be gone I searched the web and i came up with nothing.
FYI: FRED and the older NX Maximzer are exactly the same, the instructions for my FRED said NX Maximizer on them.
