concern of heat to solnoids
I have a 94 Z-28 LT1 with Nitrous daves 58mm plate set-up with the solnoid mounting plate with hard lines ...I mounted this on top of intake using the fuel rail mounting bolts
this mounting of the solnoids to the plate and then on top of intake could cause a condition of "HEAT SOAKING"
2 question's
first ....should I be concerned about the heat transfered to the mounting bracket and then thru the solnoids
second....if heat is a problem....should I raise the bracket up with spacers and if so ....what size are these bolts threadsize and length
thanks

Hey Mike,
I thought I would go ahead and post what we talked about.
The heat is not a concern. While heat can typically stop a solenoid from opening quite as high, the solenoids will already open at over 1300 psi. WELL above what you would spray a system out.
Depending on how hot it actually got. This could be a concern for some smaller solenoids with smaller amperage draw. It will not however effect ours'. The heat from that location is not substantial enough to hurt anything.
Definitely a good question. Always better to voice a concern, no need to hurt parts when you can ask.
