Help me pick a cam....
Help me pick a cam.... Relevant mods are as follows:
Forged 347 (forged pistons, forged rods, and stock crank)
AS Stg 2.5 5.3 heads, ~11.2 compression
90mm LSx intake and LG 90mm TB
Hooker Headers, Qtec dual cutout y-pipe, Hooker Catback
Good valvetrain (Comp "R", YTs, chromemoly PRs)
I want a cam that will get me ~450 rwhp on motor, and will shine on NOS (~200+ shots). This car is NOT a driver, I want a MAX EFFORT cam, and street "manners" do not matter AT ALL. All that matters is ET and MPH.
My preliminary options are as follows, add, respond, or comment on all.
a. 234/242 duration, .590"/.610", 114 lsa
b. 238/244 duration, .605"/.612", 114 lsa
c. 242/248 duration, .608"/.612" 110 lsa (TR TreX)
d. 240/248 duration, .609"/.615" 114 lsa
e. any other recommendations?????
