Default just a little double checking...

now im semi new to n20. ive done alot of installs on 4 cyl cars, both import and dommestic. but now as i like to say im moving up in the world.

i have a h/c setup on my newly aquired ls1 vette, 03 base model, and im collecting a parts list for a nice little 100 shot id like to get on the car. list is as follows:

zex ls1 specific wet kit-pn 82235B
nano 3000 psi vette complete kit
dyno tune 90mm wet kit plate
harris speed works nitrous interface

im looking to pull 2 degrees with the interface w the 100 shot. it wont be used often, only very rarely. if i happen to need it at the track as i only really go maybe once a month if that.

i just want it to be done right.

i just need to know, will my stock pump be ok for a 100 shot on top of my 41lb injectors and 460-ish rwhp tune?

ive researchihng alot and i know never to hit it under 3000 rpms and i also didnt know about the having to pull timing on these motors till recently so im just trying to double, even triple check everything before i just go running around and spraying my newly aquired play toy

thanks in advance for any suggestions and replies.

My opinion would be depending on how much timing you have in your set up now, you might not have to pull any timing, then you might have to pull 4 deg out. Really depends on how you car acts. There is a good poss that you will be maxing out your pump at your current level. Chk you inj duty and go from there. Play it safe, if you can run a few gal of race gas when you decide to spray, and prob step it up to a br7ef plug. Good luck.

as far as the race gas goes i just put in a couple gallons per tank on days when i know for sure ill be using my kit? what octane should i go with? the higher the better?

the plug will be fine for you motor, and as long as your not running 02 sensors 110 should be fine, if not 93 with some octane booster would be fine.

How much octane boost would I need and where can I get something like that from?

any auto parts store, and usually they say like one bottle to 20 gal or something like that.

the tune is finally done and the timing is at 29 degrees and the injectors are at 78% duty cycle. how does that stack up for a 100-125 shot? is octane boost a good idea or do i also maybe need to pull extra timing out when spraying?
