Default purge questions

i know that the point of a purge is to bleed off extra pressure from the bottle.

at the same time it can make for a good show/ look cool.

as i look at purge kits they look the same but the videos can look very different

i want a plume like this one:

not a "jet" as i call it like this one:

what causes the purges to look so different?

your not seeing nitrous your seeing water vapor. The amount of “fog” you see can depend on atmospheric conditions... More water in the air the more you see. The nitrous is very cold when it evaporates which is what causes it. If you just want a show get a co2 bottle filled. its cheaper

also purging has little to do with bleeding off pressure and more to getting liquid nitrous up to the solenoid on the hit. Purging a lot just wastes 4-8 dollar a pound nitrous.

if you are going to get a nitrous kit to just to purge to LOOK COOL and all, I will say this. It will get expensive fast just to "look cool".

I agree got a ls1. I have not adjusted my setup in over a year and some days I have a cloud for miles, and others it is barely noticeable. As long as I see any type of nitrous come out I am good. But than again I actually spray it into the motor instead of holding down the button
