Default One Fuel cell for NOS/pump gas ?????

I was just reading in the other post about, the stand alone fuel cell for spray. Does anyone make a fuel cell with two sides. Say about 15 gallons for the 93 octane, and the other side about 1 gallon for the race gas. I am limited on space, and it would be great to have two sides built all in one fuel cell. I know JAZ does not offer one. Because I have already talked to them.

why not use your regular tank for pump gas and put a 1gal under the hood? or if space under the hood is limited put a one gal in the spare tire well.

That sounds good. But in my 32 ford space is limited. So I am trying to find a 2 in 1 tank. To put in the same location, as my tank now.

Why not just mix the fuels, find a happy medium?
Just a thought.

Because I run 93 pump gas 99.9% of the time. Thats a waste of race gas. Plus its hard on my O/2 sensors. With a seperate cell. I can just use the race gas when needed. And drive around all the time on pump 93.

Never liked the way that looked. Plus its still a space issue.

Well you're running out of options. Where are you going to put the fuel pump for the fuel cell?

You should have some space under the cab right along the frame rails? Like they locate the power brake reservoirs?

I already have two fuel systems, coming from the one fuel cell I have now. What I was hoping to do was. Run the same size cell, in the same location, as the one I have now. But just section off about a gallon area, inside the cell. That way. It is a direct bolt in replacement for my old cell. Just reuse all my brackets, and fuel systems that I have now. I was hoping to find a company that could build me one, the way I want. Me & my buddy can do it, if I cant find any other options. But I am not sure how to do the baffling, on the inside for the fuel sloushing. I was hoping to find a company, that builds custom aluminum tanks.

cut your current tank in two pieces, then weld sides back on.

A good TIG welder can do what you want.

I have a JAZ plastic tank now. Thats why I am looking for an aluminum tank.
You guys all have the same ideas, I do. But I was hoping to find a custom tank builder. One that knows more about the baffling than I do. That could build me a a good tank. Say .125 thick. To the same speck's as the tank I now have.

I read an article that mentioned that it is better to run a stand alone fuel cell in the front engine compartment for Nitrous if you plan on Drag Racing the car. The article mentioned that You dont have to worry about fighting Fuel pressure G Forces at Launch with a front mounted stand alone fuel system. In other words you would not have to worry about going lean...& there would be less chance of air cavitation in the line or loss of fuel pressure with a front mount fuel cell for the N20...Because the fuel would not have to fight G Forces at Launch. Fuel would be traveling directly into the nitrous solenoid instead of fighting G Force....Better & Safer Performance.
