Default Place Jets at solenoid or plate?

Yea... I'm that new

I've been searching for about an hour around here and other places on the internet and I've seen a couple sites say it's better to place the jets at the solenoid rather than at the plate/fogger. But it seems like the majority say placing the jets at the plate/fogger are better.

I was just wondering what is generally accepted place to place jets on an N2O system.

I've never seen it placed at the solenoid, always at the nozzle/plate. I think thats mainly due to the design of the system. I dont even think on a standard kit you can fit the jet in the outlet fitting of the solenoid, then again i've never tried it either.

To me it doesn’t make any sense at all to place the jets at the solenoid. Kinda defeats the purpose to me. It would be like moving the nozzle on a garden hose back in the hose to the faucet and expecting it to go through and come out of the other end of the hose the same way. Maybe I’m thinking about this the wrong way though idk.

^^makes perfect sense. You're not regulating pressure so much as you're regulating the amount. I would think placing the jet at the mood would result in unregulated flow of nitrous/fuel into the engine

That water hose analogy makes perfect sense to me. If you put it at the solenoid you'd have a lesser amount of nitrous and fuel running through a comparitively large nitrous line. You'd have very little pressure at the point of delivery. If you put the jets right at the point of delivery, you have that full pressure all the way up to the plate.
