Default reading wideband questions

I have the AEM UEGO,,
Have a few questions,,
1.When On the spray what is the optimum afr I should be shooting for,, I have heard 11.8 to 12.5

2. as the numbers go down on the gauge that means it is leaning out correct,,
ex. if it went from 13 to 11 that would mean that it leaned out correct?

3. If my gauge is reading rich, I can lower the pressure on my regulator, which would put less fuel in, leaning it out? I am running a LOW PRESSURE STANDALONE system

Thanks Just want to be sure before I do this

1. I generally shoot for low to mid 11's when I'm spraying.

2. Higher the number, the leaner it is--in your example 13 is leaner than 11.

3. I would not play with fuel pressure to tune your system. You should change the jets.

There is no set wideband reading to shoot for. Every vehicle is different, change in weather, gas and placement will skew these readings. Plug reading is your best bet.

I know a ton of guys that use the wideband to monitor the car on the spray,, I know reading the plugs is the best way, the wideband is to help me get close, Thats why they exist, to let you know if you are running lean or rich at WOT.

I dont really see any issue with adjusting the fuel pressure to richen/lean the afr out,, Dont see why swapping jets would be preferrerd. It is very easy to just adjust the pressure at the regulator, and make another pull, If I have this all wrong please educate me?

Your right it should be used to monitor once you have it set, for any dropouts, maintaining correct afr ect. It is also used for more than just WOT. If your adjusting FP that could change the tune of you dont have a standalone Reg.

I mentioned in my first post, I have a designated standalone low pressure fuel system,, I run 109 unleaded in the cell just for the nitrous system,, I have the mallory regulator,, I understand what you were meaning though, If I were to change the fuel pressure to the Engine.
