I had a few questions with their rotating assemblies, and I was given excellent customer service. But I find it unfortunate, and feel for your experiences.. I really hope your particular episode was remedied.

On the other side of the coin, I have had nothing but top notch service from Nitro Daves and Greg @ MWCP, and Tony Mamo @ AFR... these companies are what I benchmark quality and customer service.

Again, Dave, I was not calling out ANY of the products you guys distribute, and I am VERY PROUD to own the kit that I have on my car. Im sorry if the long winded response confused any one, its just outside of the Automotive aftermarket, (BMX) I have a lot of experience and bitterness in this area... hence the impassioned response. I have nothing but the utmost respect for your products, and impressed that you do the majority of your products development in-house. Respect.
I loved your responce. I was hoping someone would ask us. We have nothing to hide.

I will always try to buy American products and do not appreciate companys misleading the buyer. I wish more U.S. companies had the mindset of Nitrous Outlet.

Is it acceptable to buy a US designed/developed product that was manufactured outside the US?

Just because it was designed in the US means nothing. We have seen items other companies design here and get from china that are decent on one production run and total crap on the other.

One could argue that f-bodys were made in Canada. Technically speaking the revenue went to a US corporation, but the Canadian workers got the benefits of working at the plant.

I buy 3M brand automotive electrical connectors that manufactured in the US. Ironically, I can only find them at Wal Mart.

Hey, thanks for the "shopping" tip! Maybe someone should start a thread on "made in the USA" aftermarket.

I say make all you can make in the USA, advertise it as such. Be proud of what you have done. Tell everyone you can that you are helping United States people have jobs. Charge what its worth. Most people will pay more knowing that its not China disposable crap. Chinese manufacture everything to be thrown away after use, there are rareley repair of any of it. I like things to be built to last, repairable and re useable. Just my opinion. carry on.

I work for the gov't so im all for "made in the usa". but i will say not at the cost of quality. if its price i will pay more for usa but if im paying more for a lesser product im not for that. When i bought my 82" tv i didn't buy the best from usa. i bought the best for the money i had and that was a mitsubishi. had an amercican company had a similar product i would have bought that.

Yeh Im with you brother, but even the "big name" (ie tool truck) tool companies are making alot of tools in Taiwan, China, etc. Especially airtools it seems.

Well...duh. BTW, I'm pretty sure there hasn't ever been any USA-made 82" TVs made in recent years. You didn't have a choice. Keep up on current events. Your story is ridiculous.

I think the topic of this thread IF GIVEN THE CHOICE, "would you buy US made products?"

Yup airtools and some other odds and ends are china and cordless tools. And got to watch out for some of the handtools but mostly still USA.

Just about all of our stuff is made in house on our CNC machines. And just about everything else is Made in the USA. The bottle valves originally come from Italy. But we start making out own.
