New motor...base timing to start with?

New motor...base timing to start with? I spit a rod at ls fest and i've had to build a new motor, Mast headed 408 now (was stock ci lq9). I was already running a "lot" of timing, 22! degrees on a n20 outlet plate with a .078. Timing isnt why the old motor let go, it just had too many high rpm passes on it over several years. I want to start soft on the new motor and maybe add a little. Is 15 a good starting point yall think? I'm thinking 18 is plenty, i'm not gona run her on the edge anymore. I know I know, read plugs..but I need to start conservative so I can get a reading first! Where's ATVracer? BTW i'm on vp113 so its a little different, but a lot like running c16 on tuneup
Need more motor info to get you in the ball park...

I have not calculated compression...come to think of it, I never did on the old setup.
I have the 6bolt small bore mast heads. 70cc chamber, .041 gasket, -4cc piston
old setup was 62cc head, -11cc piston
cam is 25x 25x .629/.613 108+4
