Default E85 and nitrous

im about to make the switch to E85 from pump gas 91oct.
Im just wondering if my setup is gona have enough fuel pump on spray.

my setup is a LS2 cam only, NX 175shot, walbro 255 pump.

i wana stay with a 175shot-200shot on E85... will my pump do it or what will i need?

how much timing are people getting away with on spray compared to pump?

not sure on your fuel system setup

you can usually pull 1deg less timing per 100hp of nitrous, and keep in mind jetting is different for e85, feel free to call or pm me for e85 jetting if you need to

42LB injectors with a single walbro 255lph..
right now this is the only thing holding me back to making the switch, as i dont want to have to buy a standalone for the spray.

do you have a fuel pressure gauge?
i would either run a fuel pressure gauge or a fuel pressure safety switch (cheap insurance) that way if your pup isn't keeping up you will know before you hurt anything

You'll be fine n/a, but on the bottle you'll max out your injector duty cycle if you're pulling off the rail.

this makes no sense, hence its the fuel pump doing the work on a WET system, now on a dry system yes, the injectors would be doing the work...

Radius squared x Pi + 30%

100hp gas jet = .017

.017 x .017 = .000289

.000289 x 3.14 = .0009079

.0009079 X 1.3 = .0011802

.0011802 / 3.14159 = .0003756

Square root of .0003756 = .0193804 = radius of new jet

.0193804 x 2 = .0387608

New E85 jet size for 100 shot = .039

I'm just stating what happened with my buddies camaro. We got a new gas station in town with e85. He has the same setup (255 fuel pump w/hotwire kit and 42lb injectors) retune for e85 was fine, but on the bottle he maxed out. Take it for what it's worth. Worst case you switch back and wait until you save up for some fuel upgrades. And even though it's a wet kit, pulling fuel off the rail is still fuel not getting supplied to the injectors. Perfectly fine for smaller shots, but you won't find many people with your setup spraying nitrous on e85

from what ive been researching a single 255 can only handle anywhere from 480-500whp on e85...
