I think you will be ok. Only switches in my car is a main arming switch and 2 buttons for the 2 stages of nitrous.

When mine did that it was the fuel pressure switch. It was right at the point where it would drop in and out when the fuel pressure fluctuated the slightest bit. I could put a test light on it and blip the throttle and the light would go out. I adjusted it a tiny bit and problem solved.

To elaborate more, when the system hit, the pressure drop was enough to drop the switch out. Then once the kit was off, pressure was back and kit re-activated, and so on. Hence the surging.

If you have a fuel pressure safety switch, remove it. They are junk and cause this issue all the time.

Second, my car did almost the exact same thing, and it was a bad engine ground....

First i would change the wot switch. I have sceene them do this and speratically. there very cheaply made and can fail. Do you have a controller like an flo etc?

Like silver said above . take all the crap out and start by just using momentary switch you can controll and see if theres any issues. then put just a wot switch in. add 1 part at a time to find the culprit.

....And in this case switches don't work. So, pick your poison.

If my buttons do stick that is what the main arming switch is for. My buttons are the am/fm button and preset button on the steering wheel controls. Those buttons usually don't stick

I don't have a fuel pressure safety switch.

I haven't had time to mess with anything yet, but could poor bottle psi cause anything like this?

yes The little crappy guage on the bottle is wrong alot. we have 5 bottles and they vary from 100-500 psi off. so if your bottle read 900 it could be 500 or 1300.

if its real low it can cause a surging.

That night it was a little chilly and my bottle heater wasn't working. Pressure was only at 700-800....

Had a problem like this with my Corvette. Turned out to be the mico switch. Replaced it and all is well now.
