Default Vitcor Jr. intake plus nitrous

Is there any plate systems for the Victor Jr. efi intake? Is this intake with a carb style TB practical with nitrous?

Please give me some input guys as i am leaning towards this setup along with a set of heads.

Dave is doing some testing with sprays bars right now and they are hitting hard and distributing very well. The Vic jr with spray bars or a plate is an excellent combo.

Now i really like that! That will help out a lot with the clearance of this intake setup instead of a 1" thick plate making it even taller.

Minytrker,
Is yours ported? I keep hearing they need to be port matched with the heads in order for it to work properly. I know they dont have to much of a problem with the super victor.

It does not look like it would be any fun trying to get a wrench in there to tighten up the hose nut on the spray bars.

If the guy that owns and built the company runs spray bars on his personal ride, I'm going with spray bars. Just saying....

I ran a ZEX perimeter plate on my Vic Jr (hybrid setup with some other brand solenoids)... if you want 2 stages, a plate and spray bars would work well - that is where I was headed if I had not sold the car...

Any combo benefit from port matching the intake in my opinion. I think the idea behind the spray bar is, it is placed close to the floor of the intake. This allows them to direct the spray directly in to each runner. Witch in turn keeps the cylinders more even.

Its not hard at all, the angle of the picture is making it look alot closer than it is. We were changing the fuel jet at the track after each pass on a hot motor with no problems.

That makes me feel better about it. After my new cam is in the motor and dialed in, this mod is on my short list.

This is how much room would need to be taken out to match the gasket. Hope it helps.
