Remote Bottle Opener

Was just curious to hear from people that have Remote bottle openers.
Recently purchase and Installed a remote opener from NOS. Was wondering when I go and have te bottle filled up does the shop need special equipment or are they opening and cloing it just by putting 12v + on opener to open it and -12v to close

so remove the whole assembly and gear to to have the bottle filled ?

I removed mine. I ended up ditching the remote opener...it was more trouble than it was worth IMO.

i remove the whole thing, only takes a second and put it back on just as fast. just have a cresent wrench to open and close it to fill the bottle or an 8mm wrench to do it
