how do you guys catch traction?

how do you guys catch traction? i tryed spraying a 75 shot out of the hole with only700psi bottle pressure and it just blew my tires off. i have full suspension other than shcks/springs, bfg's and a converter that brake stalls to ~2600. this was my first time spraying and i found i had a loose connection which is why i had such low bottle pressure but it still just slams the tires and i dont catch traction till after 60'. the power is awesome but i cant get it to the ground 
MY setup-full wieght
150 or more shot outta the hole (A4 with 3000 stall)
HALS R series with springs up front, on #2
HALS on rear on 6 or so
26x8.5x15 ET Drag @ 11psi
Thats as high tech as I got. I actuall cut the same 60' with the front HALs as I did with stock front, but I never got the front dialed in. best 60' to date like that was a 1.51, and I ran several in that 1.5 range too. The tires were little but they held the fronts off the ground.
